Why We Focus on What's Under the Floor
Most flooring problems in Arlington have nothing to do with the boards, tiles or carpet themselves. They start underneath: a slab giving off more moisture than the adhesive can handle, a dip that breaks click joints, a crack in the concrete that telegraphs through tile, or old adhesive that never got ground off.
Arlington makes that especially true. Much of the city was built during its fast growth in the 1970s and 1980s, almost all of it on concrete slabs over North Texas clay that swells and shrinks with the seasons. Newer neighborhoods like Viridian and the subdivisions of Southwest Arlington add their own challenges, such as builder-grade slabs that were never ground flat for hard-surface floors.
So we built our process around testing and prep. Every estimate includes moisture and flatness checks, and every quote shows the prep as its own line so you can see what you are paying for and why.

How we work
What You Can Expect From Us

We would rather spend an extra half day grinding and leveling than come back in a year to fix peaking seams or cracked tile.

Dust barriers, protected walkways and a cleaned-up job site at the end of every workday.

Standards we follow
Industry Standards Behind Every Install
Good flooring work is not a matter of opinion. These are the published standards and guidelines we install to:
- NWFA Installation Guidelines. Moisture limits, acclimation and fastening schedules for solid and engineered wood.
- ASTM F2170 and ASTM F1869. Relative humidity and calcium chloride tests for concrete slabs.
- TCNA Handbook and ANSI A108. Tile setting methods, substrate flatness and movement joints.
- CRI 105 and CRI 104. Carpet and Rug Institute standards for residential and commercial carpet.
- Manufacturer instructions. Every product's own requirements, because that is what its warranty depends on.
- EPA and OSHA guidance. Safe handling of suspected asbestos flooring and silica dust control.
