Laminate for Euless Move-Ins and Rental Houses
People move often in Euless. Census estimates show that about 15 percent of residents were living somewhere else a year earlier, and the city has roughly 14,400 renter households to 9,500 owner households (American Community Survey, 2020 to 2024). Not every renter lives in a large complex, either. About 3,100 rentals are houses or townhomes, and another 2,000 or so are in duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes, many of them owned by landlords who want a wood look without hardwood prices.
Laminate fits that brief in living rooms, halls and bedrooms. A plank rated AC4 on the abrasion scale holds up better to furniture dragged in and out on moving day than the AC3 grade that suits most homes. Its weak spot is standing water: the fiberboard core can swell if a dishwasher or toilet leaks for a day before anyone notices. We usually put vinyl plank or tile in the wet rooms and run laminate everywhere else, with matching transitions between them. For buyers who have just closed, empty rooms make for a faster, less expensive install, so we try to schedule ahead of the moving truck.
